Exeter Community Initiatives (ECI) is seeking new Trustees
ECI has an active board of trustees known as the ECI Council. The trustees set the strategic direction of the organisation and oversee the governance required to deliver innovative projects and programmes that meet the needs of people in Exeter and wider Devon.
We are recruiting several new trustees to bring fresh perspectives, lived experience and professional expertise to our Board. We welcome people from all backgrounds, and you do not need previous experience as a trustee – we will provide full support and induction.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with lived experience or skills in any of the following areas:
- Using ECI’s services or similar services elsewhere – including experiences of trying to access support
- Moving to Exeter or working to build a sense of belonging in a new community
- Being part of a minority group within the community
- Disability access and inclusion
- Child safeguarding and/or adult safeguarding
- Human resources, particularly employee relations or employment law
- Law or legal services
If you bring a different viewpoint, professional expertise or life experience that could help us shape our services more equitably, we would love to hear from you.
