Exeter Community Initiatives’ Family Resource project is a person centred and trauma-informed service which offers support to families – working with parents and young people to get services, support and new skills in place to create happier, healthier homes. We are recruiting someone with the skills to be a Family Support Worker in our Devon team. This is a contracted position of 14 hours a week during term time (39 weeks a year). Some overtime may be available. The hours can be worked flexibly to fit in with other work and family arrangements. This post will cover the Exeter and East Devon area.
We are looking for workers with experience of direct family work, who have excellent assessment and interpersonal skills, to build positive relationships with parents and their children.
You must uphold good safeguarding practice, be committed to social inclusion, and be able to liaise with professionals from a range of other agencies.
£13.00 per hour plus holiday pay
14 hours per week, 39 weeks a year (term time only)
Fixed term until 31 March 2026
