A young man (Dave) read an article in a Community Association Newsletter about the work being done by one of the Community Builders in his neighbourhood.
He lives in an area with quite a transient population due to there being a significant number of rented properties however he is interested in getting to know his neighbours through social activities. The article prompted him to make contact with the Community Builder and over coffee agreed that the Community Builder would support Dave to go door knocking to meet his neighbours. They did this on 3 occasions. Encouraged by the conversations with his neighbours Dave has now designed his own leaflet to advertise a tea party that he is organising as his next step to get his neighbours more connected.
