
Join us for an engaging and practical Bystander Training Workshop delivered by University of Exeter as part of their Exe-Change the Norm programme.
This training is designed to help create safer, more inclusive communities by giving people the confidence and tools to challenge harmful or inappropriate behaviour effectively.
Led by the University’s Learning and Development Manager, Lewis Nurton, the session will explore:
- What the bystander approach is and why it matters
- Inequalities and microaggressions in workplaces and wider society
- Barriers that stop people from intervening — and how to overcome them
- Micro-affirmations and modelling positive behaviour
- Practical tools and strategies for intervention
- Interactive practice scenarios
