ECI’s Devon Family Resource project, which supports families with children aged 0-18 facing challenges and hardships, will distribute the Robin Hood panto tickets amongst the families it works with.
ECI helps people facing poverty, inequality and homelessness to get their lives back on track by involving them in community projects to improve their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, increase their sense of belonging and provide skills to help them succeed in life.
Katie Holland, Chief Executive at Exeter Community Initiatives, said: “A massive thank you to the Exeter Northcott Theatre for donating the tickets. The families we work with face many challenges and hardships which have been exacerbated by the cost-of-living crisis. I’m sure going to see the panto this year will be a real treat!”
Kelly Johnson, Marketing and Development Director at Exeter Northcott Theatre, said: “We’re astounded by the incredible kindness of our audiences. Their donations to our Pay It Forward campaign help us gift theatre tickets to organisations like ECI and share the magic of theatre at Christmas. We’ve heard so many stories from people who have been given Pay It Forward tickets that show how our audience’s generosity can make a real difference to people’s lives.”
