We offer facilitation, advice and consultancy in the following areas:

Project Development:

With over 15 years experience of developing and managing projects we are confident that our advice and support will increase the chances of your success. We can help you out with the whole process from identifying need, market analysis and business plans through to fundraising and understanding the commissioning process.

Community Development:

We are highly skilled in working with communities to form new relationships and develop a sense of community. We can run community consultations to get the information you need. We can also advise on best practice for any kind of community engagement and consultation.

Partnerships & consortia:

ECI is dedicated to working in partnership, believing that only by working together can we release the full potential of organisations and individuals. We can help you form a partnership using a range of Group Facilitation Methods to reach consensus. We are also able to bring our neutrality to independently chair or mediate any conflict.

Engaging hard to reach groups and social exclusion:

We have developed a well recognised tool for practitioners and managers to use called Open Hearts Open Minds. Through our projects we also have a wide range of specialised knowledge of different fields including Criminal Justice, Homelessness and Children and Families.

Organisational Development:

ECI is proud of being a well run organisation. We can help you become a better functioning organisation, able to advise on strategic planning, legal structures and other vital aspects of building a robust organisation. ECI works by a set of principles we think are important for both the projects we design and develop, and the way we do business. This consistency throughout our projects and advice roles means we are able to offer not only advice and guidance, but actually demonstrate how we do it. We can give you firsthand experience of translating theory into practice.

• Helped Polsloe Community Association to identify priorities using Consensus Workshop methods
• Given 37 community groups advice and help with funding applications
• Support the Planet Rainbow Project find funding, develop a strategy and action plan
