Parenting Coordinator

I have been working supporting families for 16 years on an individual and group work basis, including various roles at Family Centres, as an Advocate and facilitating Family Group Conferences. I'm trained to deliver Incredible Years, Strengthening Families and Mellow Parenting - all parenting programmes aiming to help parents cope with the everyday difficulties of being a parent.

I believe it is important to empower people so that they can make changes for themselves. I'm passionate about working towards the best outcomes for children and their families, and nurturing parent and child relationships.

I'm very pleased to be working on this project that will be making evidence-based parenting programmes more accessible for families who are in need. In this role I am ensuring that statutory agencies such as schools, youth offending team, children and family intervention services and health services work together to facilitate the courses.

I've been an Administrator at ECI since April 2010. Previously, I was Administrator at a South West disability arts charity. I support Jane and EPC to make sure that the project runs smoothly and meets its goals.
