Harvest's City Fruit Harvest a stunning first year success

City Fruit Harvest has now completed its first season and been really successful, not to mention great fun. We have picked nearly 700kg of plums, apples and pears, all of which would otherwise have gone to waste. Most of this was delivered to a range of local organisations. For more information on City Fruit Harvest's first year follow the link.

Get Growing part 2 – Caring for your Soil

The second workshop in Harvest’s ‘Get Growing’ Series, Caring for the Soil, took place on Saturday 26th November. With the support of trainer Robin Rawle of the Carbon Compost Company, we looked at the importance of maintaining a healthy soil, and the different ways in which this can be done.

Harvest is holding a bumper produce swap on 10 September – the grand finale of this years Seedy Sundays – but this time on a Saturday. For more information, visit the Harvest Events page.
