CPAG (Child Poverty Action Group)
CPAG's online services contain the web's most comprehensive in-depth information on welfare benefits, tax credits and child support. It includes:
up-to-date consolidated legislation
easy to follow guidance and explanation from CPAG's handbooks
commissioners' decisions and court cases, many with CPAG commentary

CAP's unique 'hands on' approach empowers people to help themselves out of poverty and be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debts. They provide sustainable poverty relief as their service teaches clients vital budgeting skills that will last a lifetime.
The charity operates through a growing network of UK centres, all opened in partnership with a local church. CAP began in 1996 when John Kirkby, armed with a £10 donation, started to help people in his local community who were trapped in debt.
The charity is now a fast-paced, growing organisation whose vision is to answer the national problem of debt in the UK by having at least one CAP centre operating in every major town and city by the year 2021.

Gingerbread is the charity which works nationally and locally, for and with single parent families, to improve their lives. We achieve change by championing their voices and needs and providing support services.
