Community Development

Flying Start Children's Centre is able to offer support to a wide range of groups that work with 0-5s and their families, in the Central Exeter area.  

We currently support community playgroups, parent and toddler groups, and other providers of activities for small children and their families. We can help with policy development, funding advice, project planning and development etc

We also work with parents and carers to identify where there are gaps in services, and work with local partners to develop new groups and services to meet unmet need.

We are able to provide training for parents/carers and staff who work with small children.

We have a small funding pot to help new groups to get established and become sustainable.
