Beacon Heath Community Project Events & Training

There will be various events and training coming up in 2011 in relation to the Beacon Heath Community Project. See below for more details.

One-Off Events:

‘STORY OF OUR LIVES’ - Thursday 12th May,  6pm - 7pm at Beacon Heath Church Hall.

Showing photos from the Orchard Adventure Playground 25 years ago.
You are invited to come and see these fantastic photos that celebrate the fun and laughter that was had by children in the adventure playground and recent activity there too. Refreshments are provided. This is an opportunity to meet and chat about ‘free play’ for children then and now.

Ongoing Events & Groups:

Mincinglake Community Orchard Group, every 3rd Wednesday of the month 6.30pm - 8pm

Next meetings are: 20th April, 18th May, 15th June.

In the Devon Yeoman or Mincinglake Community Orchard, Calthorpe Rd. Relaxed, friendly meetings for local people to get involved with the
Community Orchard and events such as Apple Day, Wassailing, Tree planting, arts projects and ecology projects. Everyone welcome!

Craft Group at Beacon Heath Church. Every Wednesday from 10am - 12noon.

This is a free group for all ages! The group has been making various items and have been learning many new craft skills.
