Beacon Heath Community Project

This is a new ECI project which began at the end of November 2008. The focus of the project is to use creative and environmental projects as a means to find out from adults (of all ages) and children about their lives and how they see their neighbourhood and to create opportunities to build connections between people through shared interests and experiences to build a stronger and more vibrant community.

The project is run by a part-time Community Worker, Eve who is working with the schools, other agencies, groups and individual residents in the area to get initial ideas underway and to find out as the work progresses what really interests people.

The initial project ideas that are being explored are about Social histories of residents, Craft skills and a growing project.
